Hillcrest Library strives to offer a vibrant collection of a variety of books suitable for all elementary school-aged children.

Students come to the library each week for book exchange.

Students can also access resources at the Library Catalogue at http://destiny.sd61.bc.ca

General Library policies are as follows:

1. Loan period: one week

2. Number of books to be borrowed at any one time:

– Kindergarten: 1 book
– Grades 1 through 5: 3 books and more for research projects

3. Overdue: Students should renew books each week if they are not ready to return their selection.

4. Lost, damaged or destroyed books: Students are expected to pay for the book’s replacement.
